Club president, Ross Ramsey rang the bell to open the meeting. He then led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Charlie Yaryan gave the invocation.  Paul Comeau led the club in singing “Oh, What a Beautiful Morning.” Next, we greeted one another and learned later that Howdy Doody was the mystery greeter.  We had two visiting Rotarians (both from the Rio Grande club), and no guests of Rotarians.

Happy bucks were secured from John Hernandez, Blaine Goss, and John Schwebke.  

2011-07-20, Jason White, NMSU Golf Course Head Professional

  Club president Ross Ramsey rang the bell to open the meeting. He then led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Bill Wheeler gave the invocation.  Bob McPherson led the club in singing “When the Saints Go Marching In.” Next, we greeted one another and learned later that Bill Harty was the mystery greeter.  We had one visiting Rotarian, and one guest of a Rotarian. 

2011-07-13, Jim Maxon and Kathy Eaton, Rotarians and The Rotary Foundation at Work in Guatemala

Jim Maxon gave the invocation.  Bob McPherson led the club in singing “The Battle Hymn of the Republicans.” Next, we greeted one another and learned later that Janet Green was the mystery greeter.  We had one visiting Rotarian, and two guests of Rotarians. 

2011-07-06, Charles Centilli, Spencer Theater

Club president, Ross Ramsey rang the bell to open the meeting. Ross led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Jim Maxon gave the invocation.  Paul Comeau led the club in singing “What a Wonderful World.”  Then we sang “Happy Birthday” to Rotarians with July birthdays. Next, we greeted one another and learned later that our new president was the mystery greeter.  What a sneaky deal! We had no visiting Rotarians, but Charley Yaryan brought Mark Raphael as his guest.  Since it was his son-in-law, he paid a happy buck.

2011-06-29, Club Assembly

Club president, Richelle Ponder rang the bell to open the meeting. Charley Yaryan gave the invocation.  Richelle then led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Janet Green led the club in singing “America the Beautiful.” Next, we greeted one another and learned later that Jim Berry was the mystery greeter.  We had no visiting Rotarians, but had three guests of Rotarians, along with family guests for the student scholarship recipients.

2011-06-22, Diane Taylor, Peace Village

President Richelle Ponder found the bell and the dinger and call the meeting to attention (order).  Bill Wheeler gave the invocation.  Prez Richelle lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance and Janet Green lead us in song (new song books, old songs). 

After meeting and greeting each other we learned that the mystery greeter was Keith Houser.  A few members who missed him sweetened the can. 

2011-06-15, Marcel Nicolitz, After School Programs

Club president, Richelle Ponder rang the bell to open the meeting. Jim Parks gave the invocation.  Richelle then led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Paul Comeau led the club in singing “America the Beautiful” and “Home, Home on the Range.” Next, we greeted one another and learned later that Elaine Szalay was the mystery greeter.  

We had one visiting Rotarian, and two guests of Rotarians.

2011-06-08, Anthony Avallone, Being Humane

Club president, Richelle Ponder rang the bell to open the meeting. Bill Wheeler gave the invocation.  Richelle then led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Bob Mc Pherson led the club in singing “My Country Tis of Thee.”  Next, we greeted one another and learned later that Ana Mangino was the mystery greeter (she was caught leaving the meeting early when the announcement was made).  

We had no visiting Rotarians, but we had one guest of a Rotarian.

2011-06-01, Tom Taney, Stories of Family Members Past

Club president, Richelle Ponder rang the bell to open the meeting. Dave Lemen gave the invocation.  Richelle then led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Janet Green led the club in singing “God Bless America.” Next, we greeted one another and learned later that Willie Mays was the mystery greeter.  It was really Rita Sandoval. 

2011-05-25, Pete Lammers, NMSU Energy Research Lab

President Richelle Ponder, she is back from the Red Neck Honolulu, called the meeting to order. Bruce Darrington gave the invocation. President Richelle lead us in the Pledge of Allegeance and John Pickett lead us in singing our state song, “O Fair New Mexico” with some modifications. (John, when you use “Nuevo” in our states’ name, use “Mejico” with it. I’ve been here since 1492, and you have been here since 1776, but you are learning.)
