Best of the holidays to all!
Taste of Las Cruces is an annual event conducted by the Rotary Club of Las Cruces and the other two Las Cruces Rotary Clubs to raise funds to meet community needs. Taste of Las Cruces offers attendees a chance to sample the wares of a number of local restauranteurs in one location, while contributing to local causes.
Four-hundred people attended the 2013 event at the Las Cruces Convention Center on Thursday, June 6, 2013. Beneficiary of this year's event was the Roadrunner Food Bank, who received $15,000, which in turn will allow them to provide 75,000 meals. The restaurants listed below participated by donating food to be sampled by attendees; this was a great way for participating restaurants to showcase their wares and to aid the community in supporting a worthy cause.

|Aqua Reef||Mix Pacific Rim Cuisine|
|Chili's Grill and Bar||Olive Garden|
|De La Vega Pecan Grill & Brewery||Paisano Cafe|

On July 18, a check was presented to Anne Woodling, Anne Turrie, Martha Mitchell, Joyce Campbell-Layman and Valerie Torrez representing the Roadrunner Food Bank by representatives of Rotary.
